Hellbender funds domestic production and launches an on-edge camera line for physical AI

Hellbender announced a seed round to expand manufacturing and bring an on-edge camera line to physical-AI developers.

Processing close to the image sensor can reduce latency and bandwidth while keeping perception available to mobile robots and embedded systems.

For wearable and egocentric products, the announcement is another signal that compact cameras are becoming active perception devices rather than simple video recorders.
